This specialty bookshop / art gallery, named for poet and native son Gibran Khalil Gibran is dedicated to works celebrating his beloved country: an exceptional selection of books on Lebanon: Lebanese art, music, history, archaeology, food, language, literature, gardening, children’s books to satisfy the need of any tourist in English, French and Arabic. Rare Lebanese stamps and authentic, highly-coveted 19th century engravings by Bartlett and Roberts. A selection of local music CDs as well as an interesting collection of vintage, funky, and just plain beautiful post cards.

Crowned by ceiling-high sandstone arcades overlooking the archaeological ruins this bookshop-cum-gallery is frequently the setting for book signings.
